This is a weekly event. Quad Citians stand for peace every Thursday on the corner of 53rd Street and Corporate Drive (Texas Roadhouse Corner) in Iowa and every Saturday from 11am to noon on John Deere Road and 16th Street (Best Buy/Ashley Furniture Corner) in Illinois. We have not missed a week since 2005. We have extra signs and hand warmers, gloves, hats, scarves, in winter. We have fun discussing the latest political atrocities of the Bush Administration and look forward to next year being able to discuss the latest positive actions of our new progressive President's administration!
